Trying raw oyster for the first time!
Together with oyster farmers visited an Oyster and Scallop farm.
Ishinomaki city is famous for its oyster and scallops farm in Japan
This is my first time trying raw oysters and scallops directly from the farm while on a boat
I was surprised because it was very good and very sweet.
Oysters will be harvested after 3 years,
I also had the opportunity to try one-year-old oysters (thanks to the farmer), the taste is sweeter but the size is smaller.
I love the taste so much that I unknowingly ate a lot (LOL)
after that, we headed to the scallop farm and I was very curious how the taste of scallops?
Now I know one of the reasons why this food is expensive: the taste is amazing, the texture is softer than oyster but the taste is very sweet.
Besides oysters and scallops, there is also a silver salmon farm here.
