Wife :
My husband is usually calm and gentle, but whenever he drinks alcohol he changed to an evil person, I work hard as a ramen shopkeeper every day. Even if I am so tired at night and I want to sleep, my husband gets drunk and goes out. I am so worried that he might get involved in the fights outside, so I will follow him and look out for him until morning every day by car.

Wife: Why can`t you quit drinking?
Husband: I want to quit drinking but when it`s 6 PM in the evening, I started getting restless and want to drink

Wife: I went to Indonesian when I was 27 years old, so I came in contact with someone who had no money and house, I want my husband to see the reality on how wealthy we are living. Then I took my husband to Indonesia, He vowed to provide a place to work for those who are impoverished and he wanted to contribute to Indonesia and realized his dream. But he still could not stop drinking. He consulted with a doctor at the hospital, but it was impossible. because he has become an alcohol addict. Every day my husband drank alcohol and quarreled. I was exhausted and was hospitalized because I became sick from stress. I cried every day. I have endured a hard life for 22 years.

Wife: In my mind, I want peace, I want to live a peaceful life. if there is a GOD, please help me. I will die if this continues, please hear me. I pray with my heart every day

Wife: We went to Indonesia again last year (2018). We met a man named Mr. M who can speak Japanese at the villa. in his first greeting, he said “Assalamualaikum ”

Mr. M talked to my husband that he is a Muslim and doesn`t drink alcohol, my husband curious and they talked many things since that and get closer. Mr. M told my husband that he went to the mosque every day and pray for peace. My husband then wants to go to the mosque too, they went to the mosque together and Mr. M teach my husband salah (Prayer).

Now he is reading the Quran and pray every day. I was worried that he has not changed but my husband refuses to see alcohol and close to someone who drinking alcohol. the more he reads the Quran, the better he changed.

Looking at this situation, I decided that I wanted to live with Allah from the month I fasted. I went to the mosque with my husband to help clean up and met many Muslims while studying Qur`an.

In June 2019, we recited shahadah in the mosque in Bali, Indonesia. Both my husband and I were able to say goodbye to our hard life, we realized we were not our self before. I am grateful to ALLAH that I have lived so far.

We currently running a Halal Ramen shop in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki. We changed the menus we had been doing for 10 years. Now we only sell halal Ramen.

Now, that everything is Halal, we get discriminated from Japanese customers. Sales dropped and I was sad and cried because some people told us that they feel disgusted when they look at our signboard

But we can be strong because ALLAH is in our hearts. He always watching…
