A month-only spring view of Shirakawa dam submerged forest

The submerged forest of Shirakawa dam can only be seen in the middle of April to mid-May.

The submerged forest was formed by a large amount of melted snow that flows into the dam, and it looks as if willow trees are growing from under the water.

In the early morning, when the trees are covered with morning mist, you can see a fantastic landscape that looks like a dreamland.

It is a view that can only be seen for a month when the dam water is full.

To me, this place is one of my top 3 must-visit places, during the impressive sight at “The Sunken Forest” many people usually try canoeing to enjoy the most out of its beautiful landscape.

Canoeing deep into the forest brings fantasy to life, such an amazing experience.
