Japanese style barbeque
Yakiniku (焼き肉) is a Japanese style barbecue. It literally means grilled-meat. The beef is cut into bite size and grilled on top of shichirin (charcoal stove). It is a popular dishes love by locals and tourists. There are quite a number of Japanese yakiniku restaurant overseas, and many want to try “the original” yakiniku in Japan.
Halal Yakiniku Gyumon
Gyumon in Shibuya area is, serving the halal Yakiniku. The received their halal-certification from Malaysia Halal Corporation (MHC) in 2014. The waiter speaks English fluently. We came at dinner time and there were 3 options of dinner sets, starts from 2500¥/person. The sets come with rice, salad, and drinks. The braised beef is so juicy and I really like the sauce.
Gyumon Shibuya
The restaurant located about 5 minutes walk from Shibuya station New South exit. Shibuya itself is a quite famous tourist attraction, includes the busy Shibuya crossing and Hachiko Statue. Since it is located in the busy area, usually there will be a queue to get inside.
