Alhamdullilah, good news for all of us.

On January 16, 2018, We depart to Sendai international airport to negotiate about having a prayer room at the airport.
We were greeted by Mr. Jiro Kaneko (Sendai airport Corporate Unite General Manager) and Mr. Yuzo Ichijyo (Sendai airport Chief officer Airport Operation Unit)

In the negotiation, representatives from Sendai Airport staff, Japan Halal TV, Tohoku University Muslim Cultural Association met and discussed the plan from various points of view.

 

We appreciate that Sendai International Airport has prepared a concrete plan for this goal. The prayer room is scheduled to be able for use at the end of March 2018.
This prayer room will be the first prayer room build inside an airport in Tohoku area. We look forward to it.
