Have you ever traveled to Yokohama? What do you imagine about Yokohama?
Assalamu’alaikum, I am Itsna, a student from Indonesia. This summer, my husband and I went on a trip to Tokyo and Yokohama.
We spent a half day in Minato Mirai 21 (みなとみらい 21) which is a seaside urban area in central Yokohama. It only once takes the subway from Shinjuku sanchome station to Minato Mirai station.
Right in front of the Minato Mirai station, we can see the great building of a museum. It’s time to take a photo!
Our main destinations are the beach and the Landmark Tower. But, we really enjoyed the view all the way to the destination. Many unique buildings around and the windy weather made us happy to walk slowly.
Beautiful View
Then, here it is the landmark tower. We can see the great Ferris wheel too here. It was really beautiful, you have to experience the view with your own eyes. The beach also made us want to spend our time here longer. The weather, the buildings, and the view made me fall in love at the first sight to this place.
One thing that we have regretted back then is we could not ride the Ferris wheel due to strong wind weather. But, we are happy again after we found the prayer room in the world porters mall, the building is near the Ferris wheel.
Prayer Room
It’s a clean and good prayer room in a mall. This place is located on the 6F floor. You need to put the keyword to enter this room. Just tell the officer on the second floor. Don’t forget to read the rule for using it to keep it as a good place.
Ferris Wheel
The last thing we did here is going to the rooftop of the world porters building. And Guess what?! We were greeted by a super beautiful sightseeing. All the building, the Ferris wheel shine brighter than the stars even the moon.
And, we have to thanks to Allah for the chance to experience this.
Alhamdulillah ~
“And it is He who spread the Earth and made in it firm mountains and rivers, and of all fruits, he has made in it two kinds; He makes the night cover the day; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.” [13:3]
