Sohana sabir, Muslimah living in Japan since the year 2000, she used to teach English in Japanese high schools and companies to support her husband who was studying at that time. Initially, they never made and conscious plan to stay in Japan, but Allah made the path to stay easy and his husband started work with a Japanese company.
She is not just typical stay home mom, but extraordinary Muslimah with full of inspiration and she decided to star Muslim clothing boutique to fulfill the gap in community with no such shop available nearby.
She offered ready to wear clothes and hijabs, in addition to mending services and custom ordered clothes for women and children. She also offers Sewing classes for kids.
What makes MyBotang different from another shop or business?
When we asked what makes MyBotang different, she said that It’s owned and run by a woman it’s a place where people drop by to say hi and stay for tea. organize events, share information, and support local and home base businesses. She likes to see herself as doing a community service not just for Muslims but the non muslims as well.
Not only that, all related business was done by Sohana itself, including finding a trading partner in Halal food expo, making lobby and negotiation.
