Assalamualaikum
Kobe, the capital city of Hyogo prefecture, known as Port City is home to the first mosque built in Japan. see our story here. and home to the famous Kobe Wagyu, before we going too far, I would like to explain a little about Wagyu, wagyu literally means Japanese Cattle, any cattle that bred in Japan/Japanese style we can refer it as Wagyu. But, there is one type of wagyu that has the highest price in the world with the highest quality and most abundantly marbled in the world. That is KOBE WAGYU, raised and fed with a very strict standard in Hyogo prefecture. Every year only 3.000 head cattle qualify as original, authentic Kobe Wagyu and Alhamdullilah, now you can taste Kobe Wagyu because some of them are halal certified.
⌈Misono Restaurant: Originator of Teppanyaki now serving Halal certified Kobe Wagyu⌉
There is a lot of Japanese cuisines that you can try, but Kobe Wagyu is the only want that you MUST TRY at least once in your lifetime.
In our trip to Kobe city, we decided to go to Misono restaurant, one of the best in the town renowned as Japan’s “Originator of Teppanyaki,” and they started to serve Certified Halal Kobe Wagyu Teppanyaki steak in its Kobe branch. The restaurant itself was first established in Kobe in 1945 and then expanded to Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo etc.
This exclusive restaurant has a powerful combination of the highest quality ingredients, tableware, cooking utensils, and highly skilled chefs. We ordering Halal certified Kobe Wagyu steak, and we greatly enjoyed the view of the city from the table while the chef showed his skillful cooking performance on the Teppan (Iron Plate).
And now for the taste, rich flavor from the wagyu perfectly combined with less seasoning, rich marbled texture with softness in every bite, it was totally different kind of taste compared to other beef. I have no regret enjoying the Kobe wagyu in one of the best restaurant in Japan.
Additional information, sealed package of Halal Kobe Wagyu will be open by a chef in front of the customer, to give assurance to the customer that they use only Halal Certified Kobe Wagyu and other halal certified ingredients. The restaurant also provides a prayer mat for people who want to pray
