Tokyo is the place where most Muslims go when visiting Japan. Not only is it the capital of Japan. the amount of halal food and facilities available in Tokyo are many.
On this occasion, Japan Halal TV will share halal restaurants that you must visit when in Tokyo.
We visited the places before and these are the best!
Halal Certified Yakiniku Panga
Did you know that we can enjoy Halal certified Yakiniku in Panga restaurants? Located just 8 minutes walk from Okachimachi Station.
The restaurant serves Halal Certified A5 Grade Wagyu which is the highest rank in Wagyu world. If you want to try Halal Wagyu Yakiniku, this place is the right one for you.
Panga has been running a barbecue restaurant for 20 years. In December of 2015, the restaurant received Halal certification, and now the restaurant offers only Halal wagyu beef. One of the reasons the restaurant decided to switch to Halal is because the owner of the restaurant would like Muslims to enjoy their food and culture.
Panga uses a beef called Satsuma-gyu from Kagoshima Prefecture. It is A5 grade, the highest grade of beef available. We procure a whole cow to butcher, and are very confident in the meat quality. Our restaurant is unique because you can enjoy the many various cuts of meat from the whole cow.
Since the restaurant is Halal certified, Muslims can come enjoy the food at ease.
Whether you are Muslim or not, please come try the Kagoshima Wagyu beef here!

Halal Certified Tempura : TENDON ITSUKI
Halal Certified Tempura Bowl (TENDON) in Tokyo, Japan
Right at the heart of Tokyo GINZA, you can find delicious halal certified Tempura restaurants. Ginza is a shopping and entertainment district which is very popular for tourists coming to Japan; including Muslim tourists.
“Tendon (天丼)” is a shortened name of Tempura-Donburi. As the name depicts, this Japanese style fast food consists of tempura or crispy deep-fried vegetables and seafood served on a bed of rice. This delightful one-bowl soul food meal is popular amongst many Japanese around the world. Here we introduce Halal Tendon Ginza Itsuki, where we can enjoy halal Tendon in Tokyo.
We tried their vegetable tendon and special mix tendon. Each set comes with pickled vegetables, miso soup, and chawanmushi (steamed egg in a cup). Based on our experience, it is quite hard to find halal chawanmushi and halal tempura sauce.
This makes us very happy when the set is served in front of us. What makes this restaurant so special is the half-boiled egg tempura. This menu is only served in authentic tempura restaurants. The portion is quite big and it tastes delicious, Alhamdulillah! They also have halal daifuku !
The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Ginza INZ building. It can be a little bit difficult to find for a first-timer. Some tips for you is to find cafe Izumi and just take the stairs to the 2nd floor. You will find the cafe on your left. It is best to avoid rush hour as the number of seats is limited. The staff can speak English and they also have an English menu upon request. Insha Allah, you would not be disappointed with their food.

Halal Certified The famous Chinese Lanzhou Lamian
Lanzhou Beef Noodle of Lanzhou Lamian is a hand-pulled noodle originating from Lanzhou, China. Often confused with Japanese Ramen, even though it is quite similar, you could spot some differences. Lanzhou Lamian has a clear refreshing soup rich in spices and there are different types of noodles according to the way it is pulled.
The Mazulu Halal Beef Noodle 1st Japan store in Jimbocho received the highest “AAA” award from the global authority “Crescent Rating” of halal rating. Mazulu Halal Beef Lamian also received halal certification from Nippon Asia Halal Association (NAHA).
There are several toppings on top of the dish: freshly chopped coriander leaves, green onions, soft-boiled turnip, and beef. One serving of the noodles starts from 950 JPY and you can add more toppings with an additional price. We love how the beef, spices, and coriander flavors complete each other.
Definitely one of the best noodles dishes that I have tried so far. Enjoy

Halal Certified Burger : LUXE BURGER
Luxe Burger just opened their store in February 2020 and received halal certification the same year in May from Japan Halal Foundation. They offered authentic lamb burgers, and we do not need to worry as all of their burgers are halal. To accompany the main dishes, they also have many side dishes and beverages on the menu.
This time we tried their double cheese lamb burger and avocado burger. Each set comes with salads and potato wedges. It looks so mouth-watering, just look at those patties
Both taste so amazing! The patty is thick and juicy. We love how they managed to balance the sweetness and saltiness of the burgers. If you love something creamy, we recommend the avocado lamb burger.
The owner and the staff were really lovely and gave the best hospitality. Overall, it is a high-quality restaurant you have to try.
They also have take-out menus and you can order them from the uber eats platform.
