Finding a hamburger in Japan can be tricky for Muslims. Though there is a lot of hamburger bistro all across the country, most of them use pork as one of the main ingredients. Luxe burger hears our craving for halal burgers, as their open their halal-certified burger in Tokyo.

The place

The halal-certified burger bistro located very close to Tokyo Metro station, and you can easily spot their sign from the main street. They have around 20 seats inside with a very cozy and chill ambiance. It is suitable for any occasion: to hang out with friends or family days out. Praying space also available on the corner of the restaurant. Just ask the staff if you want to use it.

The Burgers

Luxe Burger just opened their store in February 2020 and received halal certification the same year in May from Japan Halal Foundation. They offered authentic lamb burgers, and we do not need to worry as all of their burgers are halal. To accompany the main dishes, they also have many side dishes and beverages on the menu. As we wait for our burgers prepared, the chef recommends chai smoothies for us. Though chai commonly served as hot beverages, it also tastes good served as cold smoothies!

This time we tried their double cheese lamb burger and avocado burger. Each set comes with salads and potato wedges. It looks so mouth-watering, just look at those patties 😀

Both taste so amazing! The patty is thick and juicy. We love how they managed to balance the sweetness and saltiness of the burgers. If you love something creamy, we recommend the avocado lamb burger.

The owner and the staff were really lovely and give the best hospitality. Overall, it is a high-quality restaurant you have to try.

They also have take-out menus and you can order them from the uber eats platform. And next month they will have new menus for us! We are so excited to try it!
