The cafe with food diversity idea
“Soleil” originated from a French origin meaning “SUN”. Just as the sun gives its light and benefits equally to all people, Soleil is a restaurant where various people can enjoy various cuisines from around the world together at one table.
At “SOLEIL” restaurant , you can enjoy the food culture of various regions such as Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. All menus are halal certified. It is a healthy menu that sticks
to organic ingredients and superfoods .
Location
The restaurant located at the new commercial facility called “Hibiya OKUROJI” that was created under the overpass between Yurakucho Station and Shimbashi Station in September 2020. You can reach the restaurant in about 6 minutes on foot from Yurakucho station, Shimbashi station, etc.
The Food that I ordered this time
To be honest, I really like meat. Sometimes it is very difficult in Japan to find a restaurant that provides a menu with halal meat. Because of that I didn’t want to waste this opportunity, and tried the meat menu which I thought would be nice to try.
So I ordered grilled angus beef steak, wagyu beef Hamburg and mixed grill (including salmon,lamb skewers and so on).
The steak was great, the sauce and everything was perfect, just the right amount. The angus beef was so tender, it just melted in my mouth!
The chiken skewer at the mixed grill is a bit dry but I love how flavorful that was. The shrimp, salmon and the steak was perfect! Thank you.
The hamburg was amazing, that was actually the first time I tried hamburg in Japan and not disappointed at all.
At Soleil you can also try various kinds of Vegan meals that use vegan meat and non derived ingredients at their menu. Definitely worth a try!
The cafe atmosphere
Hospitality was excellent and friendly. The atmosphere/decoration inside was good for taking a picture. The inside of the store is calm and relaxing, when you enter, you have to go down the stairs a little. From the window in the back, you can see people walking outside under the overpass. It is a beautiful place to dine!
Soleil is a place where people with various backgrounds, vegans and non-vegans, could enjoy meals together.
Summary
Overall, there was nothing to complain about, good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. They also offer a variety of drinks and main dishes. The price is also quite good and affordable.
